During many years “Hansa” company remains a devoted partner of the National Art Museum of Ukraine supporting its different initiatives and projects. Moreover, Petro Ivanovych Bahriy is one of the founders and chairman of the Foundation for development of the museum. The main object of the Fund operations is the assistance in the realization of art projects, publishing work, collection completing, and restoration of art pieces of the museum.
Over the past few years the Fund has supported over 25 exhibitions, projects and actions. The Fund has been sponsoring the publication of art magazine “Muzeiniy Provulok (Museum Lane)”, conduction of conferences on figurative issues and museum work, training seminars on efficient museum management and other educational programs. It also purchased modern equipment for repositories and made significant contribution for improvement of technical base of departments’ work. All these initiatives are steps toward realization of the Fund’s main goals: storage and promotion of visual art works, attraction of wide audience both, in Ukraine and abroad, creating conditions for the researchers’ expert level increasing, support of talented Ukrainian artists.
The National Art Museum of Ukraine has the most representative collection of Ukrainian figurative art in Ukraine and world-wide. Ensuring its efficiency and further development, we are preserving the unique achievements of Ukrainian culture for future generations.
Understanding the importance of ones social responsibility before the society as a whole and every person in particular, we contribute to the campaign to combat dangerous diseases to bring bright future of our country. .
Our company lends permanently a helping hand to the institutions of the health care system for medical treatment of such diseases:
- Oncological diseases;
- Vaccination of newborns.
The total amount of money donated in the period of 2010-2011 is around 2,1 mln grn.
Support of the Specialized Middle School № 5 in Kyiv
For years, the company supports graduate of the specialized boarding-school №5 named after Jakiv Batyuk for the children with vision disabilities. Children always need help and attention from adults and especially those who encounter vision problems that hinder their integration into society.
Thus, ensuring equal access to medical treatment, rehabilitation, education and professional activity constitutes our effort in contributing to children’ reintegration in the society.
On regular basis, we distribute medicine, food and assist in improving living conditions.
We hope that our effort will contribute to the attitudinal change in a society towards people with special needs.
